Not in-situ

Historically, no method has existed to perform in-situ disinfection of outlets and Thermostatic Mixer Valves (TMVs). The TMVs have to be dismantled, usually moved physically, disinfected then replaced. This is labour-intensive, costly and as a result is often not carried out as frequently as desirable. The Omnia-Klenz approach revolutionises outlet and TMV disinfection, both in terms of efficiency and effectiveness.

Becuase the TMV is removed from service for longer period it is more likely to be out of service when needed.

No method exists to perform in-situ dis-infection of a TMV. The TMVs have to be dismantled, usually moved physically, disinfected then replaced .
